The New York Times has recently published their best-selling list of books which lists Queen Rania’s book “The Sandwich Shop”, as the children’s best-seller. Queen Rania was on a recent tour of America, to cities including Chicago and New York, to promote her book on cross-cultural understanding in schools and book stores. Her book is published by Disney, and can be purchased in two languages; Arabic and English.

HH Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education Science and Community Development, has been invited by Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to visit the kingdom. Sheikha Mozah who is leading a high delegation is scheduled to visit universities, educational institutions, research centres and social services centres. The visit starts today March 21, 2010 and it is unknown how long the visit will last.
