Queen Rania launches the Tourism Paths Initiative

Her Majesty Queen Rania on Tuesday launched the Tourism Paths Initiative and inspect community empowerment projects designed to take advantage of the area’s unique heritage and natural resources in the village of Rasoun in the Ajloun Governorate.

During the visit, Queen Rania also toured the Tourism Path in Rasoun which is part of an initiative sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities which takes you through a thousand-year-old olive grove. Her Majesty was also briefed on income-generating projects implemented in the village including the packaging of olive oil and the production of olive products.

Queen Rania first visit to Rasoun was in 2007 where she called on for a strategy to improve the quality of life in the area. Several development initiatives have been established by the Jordan River Foundation (JRF).
