On September 10, the Duchess of Cambridge launched a new version of her “Back to Nature” garden at RHS Wisley in Surrey, which had first been showcased at RHS Chelsea back in May.

The garden aims to get children and their families to spend more time in the outdoors and enjoy nature together, and has family-friendly features such as treehouses and slides; as well as a waterfall, dens and a hallow log.

Kate was joined by famous British baker Mary Berry, who is most recently known for her role as a former judge on the popular cooking contest, The Great British Bake Off.

Kate said “I believe spending time outdoors when we are young can play a role in laying the foundations for children to become happy, healthy adults”.
