Duke and Duchess of Sussex attend WellChild Awards

On September 4, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the WellChild Awards which took place at the Lancaster Hotel in London, England.

WellChild is a British charity that focuses on helping children and young people with serious illnesses leave and live independently from hospital. The Duke of Sussex is patron of the WellChild charity and visited the home of a child who was being supported by the charity.

Also attending the awards on Tuesday aside from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who was wearing a Altuzarra tuxedo suit; were Sir Clive Woodward, Gaby Roslin and Matt Allwright.

Matilda Booth, a seven-year-old with spina bifida from Sowerby Bridge in West Yorkshire was one of the winners of the awards; and five-year-old acute flaccid paralysis patient Mckenzie Brackley from Fife in Scotland was also given an honourable mention at the awards.
