On August 29, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a special performance of the musical Hamilton in aid of Sentebale, the Lesotho-based charity that Prince Harry co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. The event took place at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, who created Hamilton – an American song and rap musical about the life of the Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, was also in attendence. Miranda’s wife Vanessa Nadal also met the Duke and Duchess as they were seated next to each other during the performance.

The couple reported to Miranda that it was the first time they had seen the show together, after which Prince Harry added “Guys congratulations in bringing it over here… Thank you for doing this for Sentebale. It means so much to us and it’s going to be a fun night”.

The Duke of Sussex and the Duchess of Sussex, who was wearing a black tuxedo dress by Judith and Charles, spoke to fellow guests at the performance.
