Florals For Mary As She Attends Home Guard New Year’s Concert

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark opted for a deep purple floral dress instead of her Home Guard uniform as she attended a New Year’s concert organised by the defence group on Tuesday evening at the Copenhagen City Hall. A pair of orange drop earrings, black heels and a black coat completed the look.

After receiving a bouquet of flowers from six-year-old Johanne and returning him safely to his waiting parents, Mary headed inside to join 500 other guests for the concert performed by the Copenhagen Home Guard Music Corps. The concert is arranged each year by the Home Guard’s East Region to celebrate the New Year.

The Crown Princess is a Premier Lieutenant in the Danish Home Guard.
