Princess Alix de Ligne and Count Guillaume de Dampierre Welcome First Child

The Facebook page of the Imperial House of Brazil has announced that Princess Alix de Ligne gave birth to a daughter on December 21.

The infant was born in Rio de Janeiro and has been named Olympia. She is the first child for Princess Alix and her husband, Count Guillaume de Dampierre. The couple were married in June 2016.

Princess Alix is the daughter of the 14th Prince de Ligne and Princess Eleanora of Orléans-Braganza, whose brother Luiz is the head of the Imperial House of Brazil, Vassouras branch. Count Guillaume is the son of Count Audouin de Dampierre and Roseline Alvare de Biaudos de Casteja.
