Spreading The Christmas Cheer! Monaco’s Royals Hand Out Gifts

In the courtyard of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco on Wednesday, around 500 children from the Principality were welcomed by Prince Albert and Princess Charlène for an afternoon of fun at the Palace.

Santa Claus was on hand to assist the Princely Couple, who were accompanied by Louis Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb, in distributing Christmas gifts to the children, before everyone headed to the Throne Room for afternoon tea and a magic show.

Both Prince Albert and Princess Charlène were dressed for the season – the Princess wore a lovely red cape over beige jodhpurs and black knee-high boots; while the Prince donned a Santa hat and a green tie bearing the image of Goofy dressed as Santa Claus.
