Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria paid a flying visit to the German city of Leipzig on Thursday, where she attended a gala in the evening to present the Swedish Business Prize awarded by the Embassy of Sweden, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany, and Business Sweden.

The event took place at the Kongresshalle am Zoo, and the awards of the evening went to Elanders GmbH in the ‘Large Companies’ category, Kinnarps GmbH in the ‘Medium-Sized Companies’ category, and Tacton Systems in the ‘Newcomer’ category.

Earlier in the afternoon, Victoria visited the Porsche factory for a roundtable discussion before stopping at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research to learn about the centre’s work on sustainable water resource management.
