December 1997: Crown Princess Victoria with her great-aunt, Princess Lilian, at a banquet during the State Visit of Russian President Boris Yeltsin. Earlier that year, the Swedish Royal Court had confirmed the Princess was suffering from an eating disorder (anorexia); she received treatment in the US in 1998. “I felt like an accelerating train, going right down… during the whole period…It felt like everything in my life and around me was controlled by others.
