Civil Wedding of Prince Ernst August of Hanover and Ekaterina Malysheva

On Thursday at the Hanover City Hall, the civil wedding ceremony of Prince Ernst August of Hanover and his fiancee, Ekaterina Malysheva, took place in front of a small group of close family and friends.

The ceremony was conducted by the Mayor of Hanover, Stefan Schostok, with three witnesses: Prince Christian of Hanover, the groom’s younger brother; Dina Amer, a friend of the bride; and Julio Santo Domingo, a friend of the couple.

Ms Malysheva wore a satin cocktail dress with trumpet sleeves designed by Sandra Mansour, who will also make the wedding gowns for the religious wedding ceremony on Saturday.

Among the additional guests were the groom’s younger sister, Princess Alexandra; his mother, the former Princess of Hanover, Chantal Hochuli; and his stepbrother, Andrea Casiraghi with his wife Tatiana.
