He’s Back! Prince Philip Makes First Public Appearance Since Hospital Stint
The Duke of Edinburgh was behind the wheel on Sunday in Windsor Great Park, driving himself and Queen Elizabeth to Guards Polo Club for the day’s carriage driving and polo events.
He didn’t appear to suffering any side-effects from his two nights in hospital earlier in the week (a “pre-caution” to an infection), chatting enthusiastically with some of the carriage drivers – which included his granddaughter Lady Louise Windsor – participating in the British Driving Society’s Annual Show.
The Earl of Wessex and James, Viscount Severn were also there to cheer on Louise.
