Last Day in Italy for the Dutch Royal Couple

Today, Friday June 23, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent the last day of the state visit in Milan.

In the morning the Royal Couple visited the Rosanna Orlandi Gallery that was founded in 2002 by Rosanna Orlandi, an Italian designer and talent scout. In the gallery are working Dutch and international designers.

Afterwards the King and the Queen went to the La Triennale Design Museum where took place the forum “Netherlands Italy Water Forum” at the presence of the Dutch delegation and Italian institution. The topic of the forum was innovation in water management.

The last event was a visit to the exhibition “Global Denim Awards” where are exposed innovative and sustainable creations of young designers winners of the award. Some of the creations are from Dutch designers in collaboration with Italian weavers.
