During his visit today to DICE, the Stockholm game development studio of Electronic Arts (EA), Prince Carl Philip was given the opportunity to test some of their development technology, including the race car simulators.

It’s fascinating what you can do. It’s almost hard to know if you are in reality or in the game,” the Prince said as he assisted in filming human movement shots for an upcoming Star Wars video game. “DICE is a brilliant example of creativity and is a great opportunity to show what we are good at. It is a Swedish, but also an internationally large company. Most people have taken part in game DICE has created,” he said.

Carl Philip spent time speaking with game developers about their current projects and why the game development industry is so successful in Sweden.
