Happy 10th Birthday, Princess Isabella!

Denmark’s Princess Isabella today celebrates her tenth birthday. New photos of the birthday girl taken by Steen Evald have been released by the Danish Royal Court to mark the occasion.

The Princess’s monogram was also published today (the only grandchild of Queen Margrethe to receive a monogram on birth was Prince Christian). It was designed Charlotte Søeborg Ohlsen, a graphic designer, and Associate Professor Steen Ejlers.

Isabella is the second child and elder daughter of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. She was born in the afternoon of April 21, 2007 at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, and was christened on July 1 that year. In August 2013, Isabella began primary school at the Tranegårdsskolen in Gentofte.

At present, she is third in line to the Danish throne.
