Pull Us A Pint, Sir! Prince Charles Spends St Patrick’s Day In A Brewery
What better way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day than at a brewery? That was what was on the agenda for the Prince of Wales this March 17, as he visited Wadworth Brewery in Wiltshire.
Prince Charles was given a tour of the Brewery, which brews seven different ales, learning about its history before trying his hand at pulling a pint in the pub. He also contributed to a commemorative plaque created in the Brewery’s on-site pub sign studio.
The Brewery supports the ‘Pub Is The Hub’ initiative that Prince Charles began in 2001, that “believes pubs should be hubs of community life”. The initiative provides pubs around the UK with support to broaden the range of services they have to better improve their communities.Filed under British Royals
