‘Jorn + Munch’ Exhibition Receives Royal Opening From Queen Margrethe

The Queen of Denmark today opened the new exhibition ‘Jorn + Munch’ at Silkeborg’s Museum Jorn.

Wearing a brown suit with orange pinstripes, Queen Margrethe was given a tour by curator Karen Friis of the exhibition that features 60 Asger Jorn and 46 Edvard Munch artworks that were inspired by women, love and the Nordic landscape.

As she left the museum, the art-loving Queen said that the exhibition “was worth seeing”.
