A Lunch at Peleș Castle with Princess Maria

On Monday 30th January, Her Royal Highness Princess Maria of Romania hosted a lunch at Peleș Castle on behalf of her sister, Crown Princess Margareta. The event was held in honour of the Romanian Academy and the Academy of Sciences of France, whose perpetual secretary, Catherine Bréchignac, was given honorary membership of the Romanian Academy.

Amid the splendour of the great Dining Room of the Castle, guests at the lunch included Professor Ionel Vlad Valentin, the renowned Romanian engineer and physicist who is also the President of the Romanian Academy.
