Prince Hashim of Jordan Appointed New Chief Chamberlain

A royal decree was issued by King Adullah II of Jordan on Thursday naming his younger brother Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein as new chief chamberlain.

Prince Hashim, 35, is the youngest son of the late King Hussein I of Jordan and Queen Noor. He replaces his cousin, Prince Raad Bin Zaid, who held this possession for the past forty years.

The prince graduated from Georgetown University and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He is married to Princess Fahdah and they have four children: Princess Hala, Princess Rayet Al Noor, Princess Fatima Al-Alia and Prince Hussein Haidara.
