A Chic Queen Letizia Attends FAO Symposium in Rome

Queen Letizia of Spain was in Rome today, to attend an international symposium arranged by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), of which she is a Special Ambassador for Nutrition.

The Queen was welcomed by the FAO Director General José Graziano da Silva ahead of a summary session of the working groups involved with the symposium, entitled ‘Sustainable Food Systems for Health Diets and Nutrition Improvement’. 

After a luncheon with international experts, Queen Letizia – who kept her look effortlessly stylish in a above-the-knee white dress with a black coat and accessories – attended a conference hosted by Jenny Chandler, the FAO Ambassador for the International Year of Legumes for Europe, to promote chef involvement in promoting of healthy diets.

Queen Letitia’s day in Rome was concluded with a tour of the exhibition ‘What I eat around the world in 80 diets’ which highlights the traditional diets of 80 different countries.
