The Queen Unveils A Sculpture Of Herself With A Mare And A Foal
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth unveiled today in Newmarket a bronze statue of a herself, a horse and foal. Dressed in a pink coat outfit, the 90 year old Queen unveiled the statue which was a gift from the Suffolk town in connection with her 90th birthday. The bronze statute was funded by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai.
After the statue unveiling, Her Majesty was shown around the National Heritage Centre. Watched a jockey try out a racehorse simulator and visited the centre’s gift shop.
HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein attended the event.
