Jordan’s King Awarded German Peace Prize

King Abdullah II of Jordan has been awarded the Westphalian Peace Prize 2016 in the German town of Muenster.

Jordan’s King was awarded the historic award for his continues support to peace in the Middle East and the support of his country on the migrant policies. At the ceremony, German President Joachim Gauck said about King Abdullah II , “You and your people have set the standard for humanitarianism and humanity.”

Attending the awards ceremony was Her Majesty Queen Rania. After the award ceremony, the royals along with the German President waved from the balcony of the City Hall in Münster.
