Princess Beatrice Participates in Triathlon For Charity in Italy
Princess Beatrice is in Sicily this week, participating in the final leg of the Virgin Strive Challenge 2016 in benefit of Big Change, a charity she founded with Sam, Holly and Isabella Branson.
On Tuesday, she completed the 3.3km swim across the straight of Messina to Sicily that was the first part of the triathlon. She has also completed the 110km cycle portion, with the team presently running and hiking their way to the summit of Mount Etna.
Also taking part in the Strive Challenge is Sir Richard Branson, his children Sam and Holly Branson, and actor Adrian Grenier.
The Princess has currently raised £12,603.86 for the charity. Overall, all participants have thus fair raised £966,846.
