Belgian Royals Hit The Pavement For Car-Free Day in Brussels

Each year, several cities and towns across Belgium host a ‘motor transportation free’ day to promote other modes of transportation (ie. walking or cycling).

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde took their four children – Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eleonore – for a bike ride through Brussels as part of the day, before visiting a museum to also promote the open monuments aspect of the day.
