Princess Anne Drops In At Horse Trials After Cancelling Engagements Due To Illness
The Princess Royal was spotted supporting her daughter Zara as she competed in the cross country section of the Whatley Manor International Horse Trials at Gatcombe Park after being forced to scale back her schedule as she continues to recover from a chest infection.
Her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, was with her. Though looking a little paler than usually, Anne appeared to be keeping her spirits up as she presented prizes at the end of the day.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson on Friday said that upon doctor’s advise, Princess Anne would be cancelling further engagements in the coming week, after cancelling all her engagements last week.
She will also no longer be making a visit to Botswana and Mozambique at the end of September as originally planned, instead the Duke of York will make the trip.Filed under The United Kingdom
