Prince Harry has made a personal donation to the #FillTheSeats campaign that is working to purchase 10,000 tickets to the Rio Paralympic Games – which begin September 7 – for children from the capital city.

The campaign is working with Paralympic organisers, and has thus far raised $USD200,000 to purchase tickets to events.

Harry also sent a message to the British Invictus Games athletes who will also be participating in the Paralympics, saying that “you’ve trained harder than ever, but the fight to the finish line won’t be easy. You know this better than anyone…Cherish this moment as you get to serve your country again. Absorb the applause and atmosphere, but most importantly – have fun!”
