Denmark’s Crown Princess Attends Stephen Hawking Lecture

A special lecture by Stephen W. Hawking was held at the DR Concert Hall today, among the 1800-strong audience was Crown Princess Mary.

The lecture was entitled ‘Quantum Black Holes’ and discussed “the riddles of the universe with a focus on black holes”, what they are and if they exist in the way it is generally assumed by science.

After the lecture, Mary – wearing a pale pink dress with a pleated skirt and silver cardigan – was given the opportunity to personally meet with the theoretical physicist.
