The King and Queen of the Belgians were joined by their four children – Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eléonore – during the country’s National Day celebrations earlier today.

First up was the annual Te Deum service at the Cathedral of St Michael and St Gudula, followed by a military and civilian defile outside the Royal Palace. Prince Laurent was also present for the festivities.

Queen Mathilde opted for a nude lace dress with three-quarter sleeves and a matching fascinator; Princess Elisabeth also wore a simple lace dress in white, while Princess Eleonore donned baby blue.

After a quick outfit change, the King and Queen in the afternoon greeted crowds in the Royal Park during a walk-about.
