Prince Oscar Steals The Show At Mama Victoria’s Birthday Celebrations
It may have been Crown Princess Victoria’s birthday, but all eyes were on her two children at this morning’s gathering at Solliden Palace.
Four-year-old Princess Estelle and four-month-old Prince Oscar took centre stage as they joined Victoria and Prince Daniel, as well as King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, in the Palace courtyard to greet hundreds of well-wishers who came bearing flowers and small gifts for the Crown Princess. Estelle was mighty pleased when she was presented with a large pink balloon by one member of the crowd.
Prince Oscar looked on from the safety of either his mother or his father’s arms, surveying the goings-on with a grumpy look on his face.
Later in the day, the whole royal family was present at the annual Victoriadagen concert at the Borgholm Sports Arena, where the scholarship of the V. This year’s recipient was Swedish ice hockey player Henrik Lundqvist.
Princess Estelle attended the concert for the first time, sporting a pair of bright pink earmuffs along with her cream dress and cardigan.Filed under Sweden
