Princess Alix de Ligne and Count Guillaume de Dampierre were married today at the church of Saint-Pierre in Beloeil, Belgium, the home of the de Ligne’s family castle.

In attendance, aside from the bride and groom’s immediate families, were Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Theresa of Luxembourg and their children, as well as Archduchess Marie-Astrid of Austria, her husband Archduke Christian and their daughters. Additionally to them were Princess Margaretha of Liechtenstein and her daughter, Prince Jean of Luxembourg and his wife; as well as Princess Sibilla and her husband Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg.

  1. Duc_et_Pair says:

Beloeil is not Brussels. The castle is some 100 km South-West from the capital.

  2. Yes, I’m aware of that, it was an obvious error because I mentioned Beloeil and not Brussels thought the rest of my blogpost (I don’t know if you read it or not). It’s going to be fixed soon.
