Buckingham Palace Made of…Jelly?

As part of the Patron’s Lunch this coming weekend to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, Pimm’s – who is the official drinks provider for the party – has created a replica of Buckingham Palace, made of jelly.

It took three men 200 hours to create, is over a metre long and weighs 35kg. 35litres of champagne and Pimm’s No. 1 were used to make the model. A number of jelly corgis have also been crafted.

The team are said to be “delighted with how it turned out” after spending quite a bit of time perfecting the Palace Wobble (the video below shows the replica in action.)
