Princess Astrid’s Car Robbed Near Paris: 2000 Euros Stolen

Princess Astrid of Belgium, sister of King Philippe, has become the victim of a car robbery. This was reported by the newspaper Le Parisien yesterday. The car robbery happened on Friday afternoon when the Princess was stuck in a traffic jam on the highway near Aubervilliers, north of Paris.

With her in the Mercedes car were her husband Prince Lorenz and one of their daughters. Robbers broke a window of the car and took the handbag of the princess with them. The bag contained 2000 Euros in valuables and cash. The princess’ identity papers were also stolen. The princess reported the robbery at the local police station.
