Queen Margrethe Dons Intriguing Blue Hat For Defence Inauguration

Denmark’s Queen Margrethe today inaugurated the Defence Force’s new department, the Intelligence sector.

During the ceremony at the Army Intelligence Centre in Varde, the Queen delivered a speech and presented the official flag to the department’s chief before inspecting a military guard. The Queen also met soldiers who showed her the equipment they use in their operational tasks.

Queen Margrethe, who is known for her most interesting sense of fashion which stems from her artistic side, wore a sapphire blue hat with a blue band and a little stem coming out of the crown. It seems to be a well-liked chapeau for the Queen, as she has worn it several times in the past.
