Countess Alexandra has joined the VL Group 42, which is an organisation for business networking. She says “To enter a VL group is for me a great way to say with firm voice that I am very interested in business. But one of the most important things of VL-groups is the network. It was one of my criteria for entering – to have a large network. Not only with the group members but also with other groups on the days when all the groups meet, and where there are hundreds of people.”

As well as being the Countess of Frederiksborg, Alexandra is a director of Ferring Pharmaceuticals. Before coming to Denmark as a Princess she worked in business in Hong Kong, working for GT Managment (Asia) Ltd as a deputy chief executive.

VL Group 42 itself is the most prestigious organisation of its kind in Denmark, with a membership of only forty people. To join, an invitation from another member is crucial (thanks to TRF Danish member Lilla for the information).
