It’s A Boy for Victoria and Daniel: HRH Prince Oscar Carl Olof, Duke of Skåne

Crown Princess Victoria has given birth to a baby boy yesterday. The baby was born at 20:28 at the Karolinska Institut in Solna. The small prince weighs 3,655 kg. Prince Daniel gave a press conference in the evening. He told the assembled press that mother and child were doing well.

This morning the family already left the hospital. Crown Princess Victoria was looking great while a proud prince Daniel carried the baby.

At 11:15 the names of the new prince were announced by the king during a special meeting of the counsil of ministers. The prince will be named: HRH Prince Oscar Carl Olof, Duke of Skåne.
