The Princess and The King

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand continued her visit to Cambodia with two very special events.

First, the princess was granted an audience with His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia at the Royal Palace.  In formal attire, she greeted the King with a deep curtsey and a handshake before an exchange of gifts in the sumptuous surroundings of the palace.

Later on, Princess Sirindhorn visited the Royal Statue of the Late-King Father of Cambodia close to  the Independence Monument in Phnom Penhto pay her respects.  This time in the warm and humid heat of the sun, the princess chose a more comfortable outfit as she laid a colourful wreath at the statue during the solemn ceremony.
