Second Day of President Xi’s Visit to the UK

President Xi Jinping of China has continued his state visit to the United Kingdom today, the day focusing on business and industry.

At Lancaster House, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined President Xi and First Lady Peng at a cultural collaboration event, where the creative and technological aspects of both China and the UK were highlighted in an exhibition. Jackie Chan was present for the event, posing for photos with both couples.

In the afternoon, the President attended a series of business meetings before the Duke of York accompanied him and the First Lady to the traditional banquet at the Guildhall hosted by the Lord Mayor of London this evening.
