Ole! King Juan Carlos Goes To The Bullfighting

  August 13, 2015 at 7:32 pm by

King Juan Carlos was joined by his eldest daughter Elena and her two children, Felipe and Victoria, in the audience of a bullfight tonight in San Sebastián.

The toreros (bullfighters) greeted the royals after their respective fights, shaking hands with the former King. This is the first bullfight held in San Sebastián in over three years, after the ban on bullfighting in the city was overturned by the recently elected coalition of Basque Nationalists and Socialists.

Shame on the Spanish Royalty yet again showing how totally out of touch with modern thinking they are. It is no wonder there will be no monarchy in Spain within the next decade. Move with the times….torturing animals for fun is not a modern European ideal. To take children even worse.

Nice to see His Majesty safe and sound !
