HRH the Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah visited the cochlear surgery department at King Hussein Medical Centre. During his visit, he checked on patients who received cochlear implants and was briefed on the procedure and recovery. His visit came part of the Prince Hussein’s initiative “Hearing Without Borders”.

The “Hearing Without Borders” initiative was launched by HRH the Crown Prince in 2014. The initiative is to support children of all ages in rehabilitation of deaf children who receive cochlear implants, language therapy and training for children after their surgery and to create community awareness about the causes of deafness.
