Queen Mathilde Heads to Milan for Expo 2015

The Queen of the Belgians flew into Milan, Italy this morning to visit Expo Milano 2015.

She was greeted at the airport by dignitaries before heading over to the exposition site just outside the city where she was shown around the Belgian Pavilion, which highlights the country’s “environmental sustainability, technological innovation and national identity”, to mark Belgian Day. The theme of this year’s exposition is ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’ and will run until October 31.

Queen Mathilde wore a light grey dress and matching coat paired with a pillbox hat.
