British Royal Waxworks Unveiled in Washington, D.C.
Madame Tussauds in Washington, D.C. has unveiled its newest waxworks, members of the British Royal Family.
Four new wax figures – Queen Elizabeth, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry – have gone on show. They will be displayed until August.
The Queen’s figure replicates her official diamond jubilee portrait, while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in black-tie evening wear (Catherine’s wax figure wearing the Alexander McQueen gown worn to the BAFTA ceremony in Los Angeles). The Prince Harry figure wears the Number 2 service dress of the Blues & Royals.
