As patron, Prince Harry today attended the London Marathon while making a pit-stop in the UK before heading back to Australia tomorrow.

The Prince chatted with runners competing as the Charities Forum team, made up of people associated with a number of charities Harry and his brother William are linked to (WellChild, Centrepoint, Sentebale, EACH and the RFU Injured Players Foundation). He also spoke with volunteers from St John’s Ambulance.

He also was on hand at the end of the marathon to present the winners with their prizes. Paula Radcliffe, a three-time winner of the marathon, was awarded the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award at the conclusion of the race.
