Sultan of Brunei State Visit to Kuwait and Oman

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei began a three day statevisit to Kuwait on April 13 which he held talks with Emir of Kuwait. The leaders underlined the warm and friendly relations between the two countries and expressed commitment to further promote bilateral ties.

After the meeting, the Emir hosted banquet in honour of the monarch’s visit.

On April 16, His Majesty visited Oman. Arriving at the Al-Alam Guest Palace for an official welcoming ceremony. His Majesty was escorted by horse guards and later received a royal salute. The Brunei national anthem was played followed by the firing of 21 canon shots to honour His Majesty’s arrival.

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and Sultan of Brunei attended an official meeting which both rulers discussed ways to improve relations and strengthen bilateral ties in a number of areas.

After the meeting a dinner banquet was hosted in honor of the visiting guest.

    I hope HM learned something on these two visits. Brunei could use a better investment strategy and also the Royals of Brunei could learn how to deal with the rakiat as the Sultan of Oman does!
