Peter Phillips’s Thirty-Seventh Birthday

Today, Peter Phillips celebrated his thirty seventh birthday.

Peter Phillips was born on November 15, 1977 at St. Mary’s Hospital in London. He is the first son and child of Princess Anne and her former husband Captain Mark Phillips, as well as the Queen’s first grandchild. He has a younger sister Zara Tindall (née Phillips), who was born in 1981; as well as two half-sisters, Felicity Tonkin (b. 1985) and Stephanie Phillips (b. 1997).

Peter Phillips was christened on 22 December, 1977 at the Music Room in Buckingham Palace, and his godparents were the Prince of Wales, the Rt. Rev’d Geoffrey Tiarks, Captain Hamish Lochore, Lady Cecil Cameron of Lochiel and Jane Holderness-Roddam. His full name is Peter Mark Andrew.

Peter Phillips attended Port Regis Prep School in Shaftesbury, Dorset, before moving to Gordonstoun in Scotland. After he graduated from the University of Exeter in 2000, he began work with Jaguar, a car company, and then for the Williams Formula One racing team. He currently works as a SEL managing director.

On 17 May 2008, Peter Phillips married Canadian Autumn Kelly at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. The couple have two children; Savannah and Isla Phillips, who were born in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
