Carl Philip and Sofia To Wed on June 13

The Swedish Royal Court has just announced that the marriage of Prince Carl Philip and Ms Sofia Hellqvist will take place on June 13, 2015.

Prince Carl Philip and Ms Hellqvist will be wed in the Royal Chapel at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. “We look forward to a summer wedding in the middle of June, when Sweden is very beautiful. It’s a great day for us and we are very excited,” the couple said in a statement.

The last wedding to be celebrated there was that of Princess Madeleine and Christopher O’Neill in June 2013.
