Official Visit to the Netherlands from Monaco
Prince Albert II of Monaco began an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands today. Princess Charlène, who’s pregnancy was announced last week, was due to accompany the Prince, but did not.
The Prince arrived at the Schiphol Airport outside Amsterdam this morning for the two-day trip and was later accompanied by King Willem-Alexander to the official opening of the exhibition ‘Grace Kelly, Princess and Style Icon’ at the Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn.
The exhibition, which features clothes, accessories, film clips and photographs of the late Princess, opens to the public on June 4 and runs until October 26.
Later that evening, Prince Albert was guest of honour at a gala dinner hosted by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima at Het Loo Palace. Princess Beatrix also attended.
