At noon, the Crown Princess entered the courtyard with her husband, Prince Daniel, and their two-year-old daughter Estelle for the celebrations, which include performances by the military band, who play a special march created for the Crown Princess on her 18th birthday in 1995.

During the ceremony, Princess Estelle once again showed her impressive calm demeanour, standing between her parents for the musical performances, clapping when the band finished, and only once or twice breaking out into a little dance.

Before heading back inside the palace, Victoria greeted well-wishers gathered in the courtyard and collected flowers and drawings.

This was the first name day celebration for the Crown Princess since 2011 – in 2012, she had given birth only two and a half weeks prior, and in 2013, Princess Lilian passed away two days before.
