Prince Harry spent the day today in Sydney, Australia on his first official visit to the Commonwealth nation.

The Prince arrived yesterday, ahead of his attendance at today’s International Fleet Review at Sydney Harbour to mark the hundredth anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy entering the Harbour. Wearing the white tropical dress uniform of the British Army, Captain Wales spent over two hours aboard HMAS Leeuwin with Governor-General Quentin Bryce, Prime Minister Tony Abbott and other military and government officials.

After a quick wardrobe change into a navy suit, Prince Harry did a quick walk-about near the Sydney Opera House, greeting the mass of crowds who had gathered to see him and the review. The Prince quickly won hearts, with one on-looker stating, “I think everyone has a crush on him,” and Harry also received a marriage proposal from a kayaker.

It was then on to Kirribilli House, where Prince Harry attended a reception hosted by the Prime Minister.

He will have a private evening tonight, before spending the day in Perth tomorrow.
