Busy Agenda For Sheikha Mozah

Its been a very quiet summer for Sheikha Mozah till September 10, 2013. On September 10 in Qatar, Sheikha Mozah meet with the Duke of York, who was visiting Qatar to attend the opening ceremony of London College.

Later that day, Sheikha Mozah and the Duke of York officially inaugurated the University College of London.

On September 12, Sheikha Mozah was in London, where she met with Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, at City Hall. They discussed collaboration in science, technology and education. During the meeting, two memorandums of understanding were signed.

On September 14, Sheikha Mozah was in Brazil. Sheikha Mozah along with a delegation visited the restoration centre of the National Library of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro and the CENPES oil research centre. Later that day, they met with the CEO of the Brazilian national oil company, Petrobras.

On September 19, Sheikha Mozah is scheduled to be in Washington DC where she will be awarded the George Bush Award for Excellence in Public Service from former US President George H. W. Bush for her work promoting education and social reform.
