King Bhumibol To Leave Hospital

A government official in Thailand said on Wednesday that 85-year-old King Bhumibol Adulyadej is to leave hospital.
The Thai King has been in hospital for about four years.
“We have been told by the Royal Household Bureau that His Majesty King Bhumibol will leave Siriraj Hospital on Thursday and return to Hua Hin to reside,” Weera Sriwathanatrakool, Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan province, told Reuters.
The King was admitted to a Bangkok hospital in 2009 with a fever. He then developed further health issues and in 2012 he suffered from bleeding in the brain.
